Effective date: January 5, 2026
KeyMatch Pro helps you organize and identify keys. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
- Photos you take or select when adding or identifying a key (used for matching)
- Key labels you enter
- App settings required to operate the app (stored locally)
- Diagnostic data such as crash reports to improve stability
We use photos to analyze key shape and match against your saved keys. We use labels to help you identify keys in the app. We do not sell your personal data.
When you add or identify a key, the photo is sent to our processing service and forwarded to Moondream (M87 Labs) for analysis. Moondream returns segmentation results so the app can identify keys. These providers may process data outside Canada.
Crash diagnostics may be sent to Sentry to help us fix errors.

- Key photos, labels, and match data are stored locally on your device
- We do not store your key photos on our servers; photos are processed and discarded after analysis
KeyMatch Pro does not require an account and does not store your key photos or labels on our servers.
All key photos, labels, and related metadata are stored locally on the user's device. Users can delete their data at any time by deleting keys within the app or uninstalling the app, which permanently removes all stored data from the device.
You can also use Delete All Keys in the Security screen to remove everything at once.
Because no user data is stored on our servers after processing, there is no additional data retained after deletion.
- You can delete any key at any time from within the app
- Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data
KeyMatch Pro is not directed to children under 13.
If we update this policy, we will update the effective date above.
