Why KeyMatch Pro Exists
For years, I had the same thought many people have:
There has to be an app for that.
Like so many of us, I accumulated more and more keys—work keys, home keys, storage keys—until I couldn’t remember what half of them were for. I wanted to build a better solution for years, but life was busy.
After retiring from a long career as a COO, I finally had the time to make it happen. With decades of business experience and a strong focus on data and problem-solving—using tools like Power BI and Excel—I approached KeyMatch Pro the same way I approached my career: understand the problem, measure what matters, and build something practical that lasts.
And now, there is an app for that.
KeyMatch Pro became a family-built project. My son Cody, an exceptional software engineer, helped design and refine the key-matching technology. My daughter Katie, a talented web designer, shaped the app’s usability and look. My wife Sue and youngest son Kyle tested the app extensively, providing honest, real-world feedback.
With both a software engineer and a web designer in the family, KeyMatch Pro is built to be supported, improved, and maintained for years to come. I remain personally involved in guiding the app’s direction, reviewing feedback, and ensuring it continues to evolve in a thoughtful, sustainable way.
What started as a personal frustration became a simple goal:
to help people quickly identify their keys and stay organized—with an app you can rely on long-term.
